

Majority
of our Venetian Masks are made using Wool blended paper
for paper mache we make ourselves from recycled paper
materials as well as directly imported from Italy when
needed.
Using plaster molds from unique and ancient Italian
designs of Commedia dell ' Arte, and our own designed
molds from living models. Paper mache is used in both
our Venetian masks and sculptures. ALWAYS, ECO Friendly
recycled paper.

Creating a Sculpture or Fine Masks
Using live models, creating personalized molds
or existing molds |

Prepare models face and body; use Vaseline
oil to prevent plaster bandages from
sticking to hair.

Make sure to frame face with foam or cloth
to prevent any wet plaster bandages from
running or dripping.

Apply plaster bandage strips to face or body
and allow for drying time (15 minutes).

Remove plaster impression from face or body
slowly and carefully after plaster has set
and hardened.

Using eco-friendly wool
paper mache, each mold received 4 layers of
paper mache to construct the impression of
the mold. Let dry and cure.

Plaster of Paris is mixed and used to build
up faces or body parts to a solid and fine
consistency by applying the plaster of Paris
in smooth application and spread in fine
layers to capture impression and shape.

Once the plaster has adhered to mold and
cured or hardened, use sand paper to smooth
out any rough areas of plaster cast.

When sculpture or mask has reached desired
finished stage, apply flat matte primer
paint as foundation over the face or body
parts to give it a base for the finish.

Adding nature’s materials to accent art
pieces by using, sand for texture, jewels,
fabrics or whatever you desire to create the
theme of the art piece. Attaching to
sculpture or masks with the hot glue gun or
Elmer’s glue.
Many coats or layers of glue and paint are
applied before the final stages are complete
along with patinas based on oil paints.

Finishing
sculptures and masks using ancient
techniques of 16th & 17th century applying
gold and silver leaf for richness and oil,
acrylic and water color paints patina
finishes. Finalizes the end Creation and
gives the life and magic to each individual
art piece.

FOR SCULPTURES:
Once the desired art pieces are positioned to
create a theme. They are placed on various sized
paint canvas frames attached with a hot glue gun
to canvas.
By filling in the hollow cavity areas behind
molded pieces to canvas. Various Eco Friendly
paper, is used to build up or stuff these areas
as support filler, creating solid foundation to
canvas. Elmer’s glue and hot glue gun are used
for this application. |
